We had a wild plan to hike to the top of the Middle Teton this year!
We invited our hiking group and kids along for the adventure.
And it was an adventure.
We drove to the Tetons on Thursday hoping to hike on Friday.
The weather did not play nice with us. It rained off and on all day so we spent sometime in the car.

We made a delicious dinner and tried to stay dry. Layne, Aiden, Dana and Paige
We woke up at three in the morning to pouring rain. We kept waiting to see if it would stop because we needed to get on the trail by 5:30am. It didn't. So the group (except for 4) decided to wait until Saturday hoping for better weather. Roger and his son in law Ian and Gene and his son Cory decided to hike so off they went. The rest of us slept a little longer and then enjoyed a rainy day around the Tetons.
We went to Mormon Row with some old cabins. My cute family.

This was the Saturday hiking crew. Jim and Diane did not go all the way to the top but the rest of us did!
The Friday hiking crew got rained out and could not get to the top.
