December Pics

We went out one night to find Santa and the line was way to long so we took a couple of cute pictures instead.

We found Santa a couple of days later at the ward Christmas breakfast.  I am really glad we did because this has been a tradition since Aiden was two.

 

We also got to go to the temple to do Baptisms for the Dead with the Toponce Family and my mom and dad a couple of days after Christmas. It was so much fun!

Christmas 2021

Christmas!! What an awesome time of year. We had such a fun few weeks.

We had our Liston Party on December 23rd with awesome bingo prizes and money from Grandma and Grandpa. It was a fun wild night and we all felt very spoiled when we left.

Then on Christmas Eve we went to the Toponce's for our annual party. Brothers (in law)

The cousins preformed talents for us and then they all opened new jammies. They are adorable!

Aiden got a new shirt

He also got some rock climbing shoes and chalk and bag. He has been rock climbing a lot at Dixie State and is taking a class next semester.

Eliza got a lot of little things.  Just what she likes gel nails!

Russell and I got a cruise from my parents! We are going to all go for their 50th wedding anniversary!

Eliza also got a new backpack for all of our adventures!!

We then got to go to Aunt Jane's house for Christmas dinner. It was the perfect end to a great day.

 

Happy Birthday Jack

Jack is 14. 

He loves a lot of different things, snowboarding, skateboarding, mountain biking, soccer, jumping off of cliffs into bodies of water. Basically playing hard.

He got a sweet new snowboard and bindings for his birthday. 

He will be ready to hit the slopes of Sundance. 

His birthday day was pretty low key. We went and got a drink, I made a yummy dinner, and he went to Lowe's Air Sports for Young Men.

Then on Friday night he had his friends over to throw knives and hang out in Grandmas upstairs. We didn't get a picture with all of the kids. Jack had a great night.

Jean and Jane wanted to take him out for some ice cream (and dinner) so we all got to go do that with him too. 

We love having Jack in our family. He is not afraid to try new things, he is funny, and smart, he is nice and cute. 

I love Jack.

 

Aiden is 20

I have been a mom for 20 years! What?! How did Aiden grow up so fast? 

He got to come home for the week of Thanksgiving which is just before his birthday and it was so nice to have him home from college. Even if he came home with a mustache!

We went up to spend Thanksgiving in Idaho and we had to get a mustache pic with Uncle Nate. Nate's was a little better :) Then Aiden went down and shaved his.

I love Aiden. We had family pictures and him and Weston had a great time together as the oldest and youngest Jaussi Grandsons.

We celebrated his birthday a little early because he would be back at school when his big day rolled around.  We made him a donut cake, because who doesn't like that?

A new pair of Chacos! His old ones were wearing out. 

We took the kids out to celebrate a big birthday dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Since all of their birthdays fall within a month and three days of each other we opted for one big meal this year.

I am so happy that Aiden is doing good things in his life and is growing up to be such a great man.

Halloween and Sadie Hawkins

This was kind of a weird year for Halloween. My little babies are all grown up. They decided to dress up the night before school and came up with some great ideas with the stuff we had around the house.

Eliza was a Property Brother from HGTV (or her dad as some of the kids at school said she was).

Jack found his little cape from when he was three

He decorated a shirt all by himself and paired it with awesome leggings and a swimsuit and called it good. They both had a great time hanging with friends and Russell and I sat home and handed out candy.

Then it was on to Sadie Hawkins. Eliza asked a boy named Clate and they had a fabulous time dressing up like characters from Masterminds.

They had to go to the park to get the pictures that looked like the movie. Clate was a good sport, because I don't even think he had seen the movie.

 

Twins. Nailed it. I am glad Eliza found a fun friend to go to the dance with and live out her dreams.

Fall Break

Sherry and Sherril have a great house in Hurricane Utah and this year it became even greater with the addition of a backyard swimming pool.

It was finished just in time for fall break.

I had the hardest time deciding what swimming suits to bring.

Sherril has a drone and Jack did some awesome footage of us enjoying the pool.

I was living my best life. It was not really warm outside but Layne turned the pool up to 93 degrees and it was like a hot tub.

Troy and Jack put some chairs down at the bottom to play with.

We also did a mountain bike/hike one afternoon. Jack was the one from our family to bike and Russell Eliza and I hiked the trails.

We all met up at the cowbell. Russell, Eliza, Paige, me, Jack, Troy, Joleen and Layne taking the picture.

We really spent a lot of time playing in the pool. Joleen in the chair, Aiden came and hung with us for the weekend, Eliza and Paige.

We invited Natalie, Mckay and baby Everett over for dinner and a swim one night. I got to hold Everett while his mom and dad had a good swim.

Night swimming was so fun with the colored lights. Grandma and Grandpa watching us from the hot tub. Thanks for the awesome addition!

We took a hike to Elephant Arch. I sure do love this family!

We also saw a really big rattlesnake on our hike. So that was really cool. We had a great Fall Break!
