Pool!

I have always wanted a pool in my backyard. A nice big in ground pool to swim in and lounge around.
So we got a pool! Ok it isn't quite what I dreamed about, it is above ground and small.  But the kids don't seem to mind.  It should be a great place to cool off this summer.

Jack, Annabelle and Jace enjoying the pool.

Eiza looking good.  We filled it up on Friday night for a swim on Saturday and it was cold.  The sun hadn't had a chance to warm it and the air wasn't that hot either.  But the kids were brave and got in anyway.

 The boys hanging out.

Jack is ready to dive in, but not really dive because it is really shallow...

Along with a pool we will need a lifeguard. So I guess I am on duty for the summer!

A Fun Week

We had a fun week having our cousins Maelee and Makia here from Idaho. They are such fun, cute girls and we don't get to spend a lot of time with them so we loved having them over. And I also loved having three white haired children running around Orem with me. :) We tried to do some fun things like Thanksgiving Point Children's Garden....

Here they are in front of  Noah's Ark

Taking a dip in the water. Makia is so cute.

Jack and Maelee with and awesome pose.

We also hit Jack's preschool program and party, Eliza's author's tea, the elementary school's dance festival, Grandma Liston's irrigation turn, and the park. We had Aunt Jean over to babysit, Tricia and Shane and their family over for dinner.  We flooded the sandbox, rode scooters, went for walks, played with Beaky the bird, watched a couple of movies and I think that was about it.  I don't know if we could of squeezed anything else in!

A Fun Night in Provo Canyon

Saturday night found us up Provo Canyon.  We saw a rope swing and couldn't resist.

 Eliza...

 And of course Jack!

Then we decided to hike to the upper Bridal Veil Falls.  It was a steep short hike to a beautiful waterfall.

The kids up close and personal.

Heading back to the car. Eliza found a big walking stick that we brought home with us, of course.  I love nights like this being together and finding a little bit of excitement not far from home.
