Today Russell turns 35! He is getting so big. :) I thought it would be great to marry a younger man (2 months younger) so I could mold him and shape him into what I wanted him to be, but it turns out it's not fun to turn older first. So I am glad that he is finally joining me at 35!
Here are some things I like about Russ:
*He is always hungry at 10 o'clock at night, and usually has a second dinner then. I remember when we had been married for about a year we were laying in bed and he said to me very seriously, "Dana, do you ever feel like you don't get enough to eat?" and I said, "No, do you?" and he said, "Ya, I think I need more food." So now he gets more food right before bed. I love it.
*He is in a good mood 98% of his life. He is never moody, (he leaves that to me) and is rarely stressed out.
*He wants to bag peaks with me this year. He always wants to do things with me. Except his yearly snowboarding trip, he wants to do that with his friend Rand.
*I went to youth conference last weekend and when I came home I found him cleaning out the storage room. Like it was no big deal. That storage room needed cleaning forever, but I never touch it because it's too hard to deal with on my own. Not Russ, he just jumps in and gets hard things done.
*He's a handsome devil.
*He is the best dad and husband.
I could go on for days...Happy Birthday Russell. I love you!
Eliza lost her first tooth last week! It was an exciting event, especially because she let Aiden pull it! There were tears, blood and screams but she was all smiles when it finally came out. We went to the dollar store the next day to spend the loot the tooth fairy gave her. Now Jack keeps telling us his tooth is loose!
And I couldn't resist posting this picture...what Jack looked like this morning when he woke up. Wild hair, no shirt, pj's on inside out. He is so cute. He doesn't like to wear a shirt to bed anymore because he wants to "be naked like Aiden".
