Big Springs

Saturday was a little rainy and cool and we all wanted to get outside. So we headed up to hike the Big Springs trail. It rained on us a little bit, we all got muddy and we were all happy!

Just before we started out... Eliza is holding a plant guide so we could identify some plants and wildflowers.

Jack spotted something in the bushes...a rock. He was so funny, he wanted to wear a little fanny pack. It was loaded with a granola bar and two band aids.

It was so green and beautiful. We couldn't pass up a photo opp.

We found a beaver dam and lodge. Beavers really are busy.

Aiden is telling Russell, "Dad I can get over to that lodge I just need to hop across a couple of these logs and then...." It is always and adventure with Aiden.

I see you, too! I love getting out with my family and now that summer is here, the world is our oyster! :)
