So on day 2 and 3 of the reunion we went to Camp Cumorah girls camp. We rented the camp and had the place to ourselves. My dad has been working for years to fix up the the camp so we all wanted to go and experience it. It was a whole different place then when I went to camp there, except for the cows mooing bright and early in the morning that was the same!
My mom and dad made a game called yardzee (yhatzee) on the lawn. It was a lot of fun.
This picture has a lot of shadows but it is all of the kids holding a stuffed beaver after going on a beaver hunt. My mom has done other hunts before, bear, moose and bird so this was fun to keep the tradition going. After the hunt we went and saw a real beaver lodge.
We got to canoe and swim in Leech lake. Sure there are no more leeches because they made the lake deeper, but it will always be leech lake to me.
Here is Shane, Makia and Eberlee paddling around.
Jack taking a swim in the lake.
My mom, dad, Tricia, Colette and Curtis watching the swimmers.
The big kids, Natalie, Hallie and Aiden hanging out on the dock.
I caught a ride with Tricia and Shane.
Tricia and Shane brought up a fun stick game. Curtis did not get the stick in time so he was out!
Grandma with Abbie, Eliza, Jane and Eberlee
Jack and Jace hauling some chairs in the handcart up to the campfire. I had a fun game guessing game about family members, my dad gave a wonderful devotional, we roasted s'mores and my mom handed out glow in the dark bracelets.
Russell getting ready for his time in the lake
Aiden
Abbie and Eliza having a great time on the dock
Nate and Eberlee. She was wiped out falling asleep on her dad's lap.
After camp we went back to Idaho Falls for a big family picture, our favorite food from The Canton and games. Shantell, Nate, Kenny, Megan, Curtis, Tricia, Shane's head, Natalie and Sandi.
Wow! What an awesome trip. Jack fell asleep on the way home to Utah. It wiped us all out! But it was perfect being able to spend time with my family, little and extended. That is what it is all about.
