St Pete's Beach

After three crazy days at Universal Studios we went to St Pete's Beach on the Gulf of Mexico for the next three days. I just wanted to post a couple more pictures of the kids with some of their awesome treats they bought.

Here is Jack with his chocolate frog! They were huge, Aiden bought two of them because he like them so much.

Eliza thought the fudge flies looked delicious. Little pieces of chocolate shaped like flies...yum

Aiden bought an extendable ear from the Weasley's joke shop and it works really good. Perfect for spying.

Russell and I bought some nosebleed nougat, it doesn't really cause nosebleeds like in the book, but it sure makes a cute picture.

Now to the beach. We had a nice place to stay with a little kitchen that we cooked dinner in one night. Here we are at the pool. We are all in the picture...Russell's feet count. Eliza is on top of Aiden. The kids loved going from the pool, to the beach, to the hot tub. They were all within feet of each other.

We ran to get some lunch and stopped at a store to buy some sand toys. It was fun to have them to build sandcastles. Our hotel was right behind the kids in the picture so we couldn't have been closer to the sand.

Even Russell got in the water! This first day was our worst weather day. Around 5pm it started pouring sheets of rain and didn't stop all night. So I am glad we got some beach time in before the rain hit that day.

There were little fish swimming all over the place that we tried to catch, but we didn't have any luck. We also saw stingrays, and Aiden stepped on one. He didn't get stung, it just squirmed under his foot and swam away.

Here we are getting clam pedicures. There were little clams all over this beach that if you dug them up you could watch them, and feel them, dig their way back down in the sand. It felt so funny around your feet.
