We went to Ollivander's wand shop and went to the little show there. Aiden was picked to have a wand choosen for him (we went back again and Eliza was choosen). It was a fun experience and then they let you BUY the wand that chose you. The kids went in on an interactive wand so they could cast spells around the town.
Here is Aiden making rain come out of the umbrella.
Jack is pointing his wand at a window to make the lights come on.
Here is Jack with the big dragon behind him
Eliza is taking her turn making the toilet flush in Weasley's Wizard Wheezes store front.
Jack in front of Hagrid's Hut.
Jack loved this ride. It was the flight of the Hippogriff and he went on it 20 times. Sometimes with one of us but most the time by himself. He rode this while Aiden and Eliza rode Dragon's Challenge 15 times. He was too short for that ride or I am sure he would have been right there with them.
A view of Hogwarts.
The entrance to Hogsmeade Village
This is Jack on the Hippogriff ride if you look close he is holding up one finger for "one more time"
Russell and I found a nice bench and watched Jack go round and round. We both went on all of the rides a few times but we had to call it quits.
Here is Eliza with some of her treasures. A sugar quill, and new shirt. The sugar quill actually writes!
The kids hanging out on Hagrid's motorcycle.
Yum...butter beer. We had a couple of these everyday we were here. Some were frozen. They tasted like a really sweet cream soda with foam. So Good!
Posing in front of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes with a bag full of goodies from the store.
The telephone both to call the Ministry of Magic.
We got to have lunch inside the Three Broomsticks.
Russell really and truly fell asleep sitting on the ground waiting for us to get done with a ride. He is so funny.
I liked that the bathrooms were called Public Convenience's and inside you could hear Moaning Myrtle.
A trip to Hogsmeade would not be complete without a stop at Honeydukes for treats.
