Shark Teeth

The next day we went to Caspersan Beach to find shark teeth. We had researched it on the internet before we left, it is a really cool beach that has fossilized shark teeth all over that you can find. It sounded exciting so we went.

Here is Aiden with one of the first teeth that we found.

Here is Aiden with a dead starfish

Russell ran into a couple of guys from Utah on the beach that were leaving. They showed him all of the teeth they found and told them how they did it. They made these screens to sift through the sand and shells and found a lot of teeth. So Russell bought two screens and I am glad we did. We found a lot of teeth.

Here is Jack with a weird little bug type animal we found in the sand.

Here we are sifting the sand. We felt like little miners looking for gold. It was so much fun and really addicting. When it was time to go the kids kept saying, "one more scoop".

Russell relaxing on the sand. The water was so beautiful and warm. It was 87 degrees in the water, we think it was warmer then the hotel pool!

As we were going to get in the car, we saw this little turtle friend.

We wiped the kids out, but we had one more beach to hit before the day was over.

Clearwater Beach, this is Jack and a big turtle.

 More playing in the sand

My little mermaid. She was so brave on this trip, riding roller coasters, swimming in the ocean she is awesome!

Jack, Eliza, waves and the sunset.

The sunset was spectacular over the ocean.

Eliza and me.

 The boys

The last day on the beach and we found a whole bunch of crabs! This isn't even half of what we found. We brought these up to the sand to see if they would crawl back to the ocean.

If you look close you can see this one's eyes poking out.

We had the best time in Florida! It was such an adventure for us and I am so glad we got to go!
