We Are Home!
We are back from the hospital! Eliza's surgery was a great sucess and she was the perfect patient. She did so well that she got to come home early!! They told us to plan for at least two days, but by this morning they told us she looked great and could come home. The surgery took longer than expected (four hours instead of two), but it went perfect and the surgeon was very pleased. Right now she is sleeping. She woke up this morning at 6:30am after a long night of waking up every hour to go to the bathroom, and did not fall back to sleep until the car ride home. She wanted to do all of her activities that everyone gave her to do at the hospital. She was so busy she couldn't rest! I just want to thank everyone for their love, concern and prayers. I know she was very blessed to have this great outcome! Thanks everyone!

So glad to hear that the surgery went well.
I have been waiting for an update and am so happy to hear all went well. We hope Eliza has a speedy recovery.
Phew that must be a great relief! Glad all is well. What a trooper she is. Adam had a hernia surgery a couple years ago(much more minor) and he LOVED it all a little too much. Loved all the attention and hospital stuff and was begging for another.
