Surgery
Tomorrow is Eliza's big surgery. She has kidney reflux and they have to reimplant her ureteral tubes into her bladder. She will probably be in the hospital (Primary Children's) for two nights. Because of the swine flu they won't let anybody under the age of 14 come and visit. So Aiden and Jack will have to wait until she is home to see her.
Primary Children 's Hospital offered a pre-surgery class to tell kids what to expect on their surgery day. We went last week and here is Eliza showing off the things she got to bring home. She is getting a little nervous, twice today she has said that she is scared for her surgery and that is the first time she has said anything like that. But I know she will do great and I am glad that we get to go to Primary Children's because I have only heard great things about that place!
