Hospital Stay

Here are a few pictures from our exciting stay at Primary Children's.

Here is Eliza getting her hospital stuff on. Notice the little footie socks she got to wear and keep. She thought they were pretty cool.

This is Eliza in her room after waking up. She looks so little in her bed. The hospital gave her the pink fleece blanket on the bed with her. She got a little spoiled, but she should have! :)

Russell and I gave her this Strawberry Shortcake doll and she liked being able to play with it in her bed. She also got to take her lamb Lamby with her. It was her little buddy, he even got his own tag!

Here is Eliza playing hospital bingo. It was on t.v. in the morning and when you got bingo you called on the phone and they announced your name as a bingo winner on t.v. She really liked it and she won so they brought her in a Polly Pocket!

Here are Eliza and Dad putting a puzzle together when he came to get us yesterday. She had so many things to do she didn't want to leave. She is doing great. She was up every two hours last night going to the bathroom. It hurts when she goes so she doesn't like to. But the more she goes the better her bladder will flush all of the junk out, so it is all part of the process. Now if we could get Jack to be nice to her we would be set!

Wow, what a neat experience. Way to go Primary Children's - they made what could have been a rotten experience into a good one. Really cool all they did - Bingo, and a hospital tag for Lamby. What a great place. Glad all went well!
