We did something crazy in July, we booked tickets to Florida. It was a pretty spur of the moment idea to get tickets for fall break we talked about it one night and the next day we had the tickets.
We had such a fun trip the first time so we all wanted to go back and I am so glad we did. It was awesome.
On the shuttle to our 11pm flight to Florida.
Aiden and Eliza ready to go. We flew all night and got to Florida at 5am.
We got off the plane, had breakfast and went straight to Universal Studios.
Russell recreating his favorite pictures. Nailed it.
The Wizarding World did not disappoint.
All goggled up ready to Escape from Gringotts.
Mmmm frozen butter beer is the best!
We like sharing it tastes better!
Russell practicing his wand work.
Did I mention we took the all night flight to Florida? The kids really fell asleep like this. We decided after this to leave a bit early and head back to the hotel for a good night sleep.
The next day we woke up refreshed and ready to go from opening to close.
Jimmy Fallon had a new ride there and it was not EW
This is the rip ride roller coster and it was super scary. I only did it once, the kids did it a lot!
This is how Russell and I liked to ride the roller coaster. We would find a spot to sit and wait for the wild ones to come back.
They had some spooky pumpkins decorating the park because they have a really creepy Halloween party that night that they say is not for kids. No thanks.
Saying hi to Stan Shunpike and the Knight Bus.
Russell refused to ride the Mummy ride with us so he hung out by himself. He had a lovely view of King's Cross. We loved the Mummy and went on it a few times.
The sign says it all.
We went on the Popeye water ride two times, the third time Jack and Eliza went together.
We were soaked. It was like we had just jumped in a pool. So we looked pretty awesome for the rest of the day.
The kids met King Julian.
Russell picked up a sweet shirt from the Jimmy Fallon store.
I saw Jaws.
Hogsmeade Village
Chocolate frogs
Eliza and I went on a ride and Aiden fell asleep on Jack.
I told you we love to share...yummy nachos.
These guys braved the hulk, I chickened out on this one.
Russell was eyeing this turkey leg the whole time we were there so he finally splurged and bought one.
We had an amazing two and half days at Universal Studios. It really is a fun place, and thankful not too crowded we did every ride we wanted to multiple times and didn't have to wait very long.
