Cocoa Beach Florida

We went to the Gulf Coast the first time we went to Florida and this time we decided to go the the Atlantic Coast and we loved it. We weren't sure how warm the water would be, but it was so warm even in October. We rented a condo right on the beach and it was so nice.

We bought a fun ball and had fun throwing it around in the waves.

We loved to boogie board. The place we rented had boogie boards that we used everyday.

Our place had a nice pool. But it was not very warm, the ocean was warmer!

One afternoon we went exploring the city and tried to find a manatee. No luck but it was fun to see the town of Cocoa Beach.

 Back down to the beach for an evening stroll.

Aiden stayed back at the condo but the rest of us enjoyed the beautiful evening on the beach.

We could feel the little fish splash and hit against our legs. It was wild.

The view from our balcony. You can see the wooden path that led right onto the beach we were so close. We could hear the waves crashing. We had a condo with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen, and living room. It was so nice to have beds and space for everyone and not cramped in a hotel room.

One day Jack decide to try his luck at fishing with a net bag that held the sand toys and he did it!

 He caught two little beauties.

This is me walking along looking for shells, I found quite a few keepers. The beach really makes me happy so I am glad we got to spend four days there.

 Oh and we saw Sharks!! There were two sharks swimming in about three or four feet of water really close to the beach. I think they were eating all of those fish that Jack was trying to catch. It was really crazy to see sharks so close to the shore. We stayed out of the water for a few hours, but we did get back in eventually. We also saw dolphins jumping. 

 The other thing we did in Florida was go to Disney World for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. We had a great time, but only took 3 pictures. Two of them on Splash Mountain when it broke down right when we were getting to the big drop.

 We really got a behind the scenes look as they had to get us all out of the logs and walk us out of Splash Mountain. They did give us a fast pass to do another ride. Luckily this was our second time on it so we weren't too disappointed.

In front of the castle. We got to trick or treat and got lots of candy, we went on a lot of rides, saw a parade and a show and enjoyed our evening at the Magic Kingdom.

I am so glad we all got to go to Florida again. I loved my big kids and we had such a fun time.
