Mid Summer

So I have to catch up on all of our activities this summer. And this is the middle portion. Russell and I did a backpacking trip together to Amethyst Lake. It was a beautiful, hard hike. And I don't have all of the pictures on the computer yet but here are a few.

Russell is in the High Uintas

A four mile hike to a beautiful camp site.

 Our home away from home.

The mountains were awesome and trust me the lake was gorgeous.

Then we went to Trek, all of us but Jack. We made good lookin' pioneers

Russell and I were a ma and pa to an amazing group of kids. We even got to have our real daughter in our group.

 We pulled a hand cart

Here I am with my new daughter

Two cute pioneer cousins.

The placed we camped was so pretty.

Aiden cooling off in Coyote Gulch. The young men went on a three day backpacking adventure in Southern Utah.

 Russell got to tag along.

Russell and Jack went on a father/son bonding backpacking trip to Cubrant Lake.

They fished

And actually caught some!!

What a cute fisherman

 Dad and Jack

We also went to St George for the Liston reunion. We headed down because our niece Shelby was getting married. We took the kids to the St George temple to do Baptisms for the Dead one morning. We stayed in a really nice house that had a pool four doors down so we swam, went to the Tuachan to see Shrek and went to the wedding reception. It was so much fun.

 My cute family

Daddy/daughter dance at the reception. Eliza is growing up!!
