We had a busy month with Christmas, birthdays and parties, but we tried to make sure we had some fun family time too.
We went to tell Santa what we wanted for Christmas.
And then we enjoyed some Christmas lights.
Another night we went to Draper to see the Tree of Life. It is such a magical display of lights.
Jack and Mom
I can't believe how big my little girl is.
Russell, Jack and I went for a winter hike one day. We thought it would be snowshoeing adventure but there was not quite enough snow, so we just hiked.
Jack is such a good sport to still hang out with Russell and me
Jack tried snowboarding for the first time this winter. And he is a natural. He has gone up twice so far with his Dad.
Russell thought he was doing so good that the second day he took him to the top of the mountain.
Jack Shredding
They stopped for, according to Jack, the best bowl of Chili
Jack really loved being old enough to hit the slopes, he has been watching Aiden and Eliza do it for years and was ready for his big chance. We made him wait until 5th grade so we could buy the Ski Utah 5th grade pass that gets him into all the Utah resorts 3 times for $45. Next year we will get him a season pass to Sundance.
