We had a wonderful few days leading up to Christmas.
On December 23rd we had the Liston Bingo Party that nobody wants to miss.
Here is Eliza all dressed up as an angel for the nativity. She makes a white sheet look good.
Then on Christmas Eve Russell and I helped with the Ward's Christmas Breakfast for the 8th year running. After we cleaned up we dropped off some things at the neighbor's and this is where we found Aiden and his friends playing video games. They were loving it.
After we pulled Aiden away from the video games we went to Tricia's house for our Christmas Eve party. Eliza played the trumpet for the talent show. She is getting really good at it. Our little family also made a music video that we showed. It was epic.
The cousins in their pj's. These are the Jaussi Sister's kids. The brothers are in Idaho and don't come for this party. It was been such a fun tradition to play with my sisters and Aunts on Christmas Eve. We were really missing my mom and dad who are usually there, but they are in Russia now on their mission and it wasn't quite the same without them.
And then it was Christmas Morning. I loved that at midnight on Christmas Eve Trica, Curtis and I were sharing pictures of Santa's hard work at all of our houses. It was really fun.
The kids still woke up early. I was hoping that since they are older we would be able to sleep in a bit, but Christmas is still Christmas and too exciting to sleep through.
All three of them got new beanie hats.
Russell got some really interesting hiking cloths, a rain kilt, rain over gloves and some booties for inside of the tent. He is a funny, funny boy when it comes to his camping gear.
My Parent's left us presents at Tricia's house before they left and part of it were these awesome pillows that my mom made.
Jack was excited to get a new soccer ball.
Aiden opened a family Harry Potter lego set that he immediately said he would put together...and did
Jack's big present...a unicycle!
Aiden was so happy to get a new phone
Eliza in her new cool kid shades
She also got a face mask that you put in the fridge and then place on your eyes.
Jack and Dad putting the unicycle together.
Eliza didn't ask for anything big just a lot of little things like this awesome face mask. She also got these overalls and purple shirt.
This was Christmas day, now snow, no coat so it was perfect for Jack to learn how to ride his unicycle. And it did a great job, he was able to go down the driveway, turn and ride a ways by the end of the day.
Merry Christmas!
