Wind Rivers -Part 2

The next morning we woke up ready for another adventure.

Here is our campsite. It was pretty secluded but not by the lake because those spots were all taken. We bought the kids their own camp chairs so they wouldn't take ours anymore and that was nice!

We did an awesome day hike to Temple Lake and Deep Lake.

This boulder was awesome and so is Jack!

Eliza posing with nature all around.

We hiked next to this flowing water that went right over the granite rocks. It was so cool.

It wasn't deep, but it was nice to have a little bridge so our feet wouldn't get wet.

 It was a beautiful place!

We made it to deep lake. I love this backpacker's of mine!

This is us by Temple Peak with Temple Lake in the background. The wind came up an got cold up here.

Russell carried the big pack for us all. He is awesome!

I love this picture of Jack and I on the two trails with the mountains behind us.

River crossing!

 Jack by a waterfall.

The Wind Rivers did not disappoint! I hope we can go back someday.

Packed up and ready for the five mile hike to the car.

We made it out alive!

We wore the kids out, so that was awesome.
After our mountain adventure we drove to Colorado to visit Megan, Kenny, Bennet and Jayne. It was so much fun to see their new house and hang out with them.

Megan and Kenny spoiled us with delicious food and treats.

Megan also took us to the Denver Natural History Museum and it was super fun.
The highlight for the kids was when we went to Water World. It was a 63 acre water park in Denver and we had a blast.
It was the perfect family vacation.
