The Birthday Week!

Yesterday marked the end of the week of Birthdays at the
Liston house. It has been a super fun week!

Aiden turned 14 on Nov. 30. His birthday was the Monday after Thanksgiving break so we had his party the weekend before. He took a fun group of boys to the cabin once again.

Russell took them, and they played kendama, watched a movie, played outside and ate pizza and snacks all afternoon into the night. He had a great time.

We thought we would be home from our trip to Idaho on his actual bday, but our car broke down on the side of the freeway and we had to be towed back to Idaho Falls. But it turned out to be fun, Grandma and Grandpa took him to IHOP for breakfast, we went to a movie and that night when we finally got to head home (without our car) we stopped for root beer floats.

December 5th found me. Even though I didn't want to turn 40 this year I did. My family made me a bobble head! It was such a surprise, Aiden and had the idea and Russell executed it.

I am even wearing my Idaho shirt. It was so funny and thoughtful of everyone!

I got to have three fun birthday lunches with Tricia, my friends and Jean and Jane. I went on a hot date with Russell and had a lot of fun birthday wishes from people. It was a perfect day to turn 40!

Then yesterday on December 8 my baby turned 8!! He is old now, ready to get baptized and join the cub scouts.

 What a cute boy!

He wanted to go swimming for his party. Here he is with his friend Alex from school.

Jack and Carson goofing around. I didn't get a lot of great pictures because it is hard to get squirrels to hold still. :)

The boys had a great time swimming. And it was a pretty easy party to put together! After swimming we went with Grandma and Grandpa Liston and Jean and Jane to Zupas for a birthday dinner. He had a great day too.

Wow, what a busy, crazy week!! I am excited to see what lies a head this year for all of us.
