Our Eagle Scout

Aiden received his Eagle Scout Award! He passed his board of review at the end of October and earned his award while he was still 13!

We had his Eagle Scout Court of Honor on December 16 and 

it was such a nice night.

 Here is Aiden all ready and handing out programs as people came in.

 Here is his scout master Brother Conners giving him his award.

Here are Russell, Aiden and I.  We are so proud of Aiden! He worked so hard to earn his Eagle.

 Brother Nordmeyer is giving Aiden the Eagle Scout Oath. He helped Aiden so much with all of the paper work, approving his project and coaching him through all of the steps leading up to the board of review.

Aiden wanted to give out five mentor pins to the scout leaders who helped him a long the way. Brother Koster, Brother Plothow, Brother Clegg, Brother Kofford and his Uncle Layne. These men helped him earn rank advancement, earn merit badges and suffered through a lot of sleepless campouts with Aiden. We really appreciated all they did for him.

 Here is the display we set up for the food table. The carved eagle belongs to Grandma and Grandpa Liston and it really made the table look cool. We served cookies and a flag cake.

We love you Aiden!! Congratulations on your big accomplishment.
