After a fun two weeks of Christmas and New Year's we got to end the vacation right with Eliza's birthday on the 3rd. We had a fun time planning and shopping for the party.
Here she is all decked out with her birthday presents...fake glasses, new scarf that Grandma Jaussi made, new shirt, apron to hold her balloons and pump to make animals, new Healies from Jean and Jane and Ann (that she loves!!) She also got a gift certificate to color me mine that made her very happy. :)
Paige came over and she was wearing the same shirt, fake glasses and her healies, Eliza lent her another scarf and twins again. I love that they have each other and get to be twins all of the time!!
The party!! Mustaches, karaoke, balloon making, friendship bracelets, face masks, chocolate fountain, and a lot of giggling! It was a "late night" party until 9:30 and it was a blast.
Eliza loved all of the thoughtful gifts that her friends gave her. She was in heaven.
Here she is at the party, girls were singing, crafting and playing all night. I love Eliza and can't wait to see what this year has in store for my 9 year old.
Oh and don't think that the girls were the only ones belting out the tunes on the karaoke machine. Aiden and Russell got in the swing of things and I couldn't be stopped. You should hear my Livin on a Prayer...it rocks! We stayed up until 11:30 singing and dancing, we all kept saying one more, just one more. It was an awesome day.
