Yellowstone Part Two

Here is Jack pointing to the hot pots. It is really hard to get a picture of this kid's face. He is always on the move.

On almost every stop Jack had to find a stick to carry with him. This was the "log" that he found at Norris. He is so funny.

We went on a little hike one day to Undine Falls. The scenery was spectacular and Eliza looked so cute marching up the trail that I had to take her picture.

After Undine Falls we spent some time playing in Lava Creek. The kids loved it. It was nice just to be able to relax and let the kids have some fun. This is Hallie, Aiden, Natalie, Vince and Sydney. The water was FREEZING by the way.

Jack fell asleep after the hike, even the Dr. Pepper couldn't keep him awake. :)

Okay, the reason we went this week of the year to Yellowstone was because my mom heard that there would be otter feeding on spawning cutthroat trout at Trout Lake. They come the week of July 15th, so we went the week of July 15th to check it out. My mom loves otter and really wanted to see one. We were not disappointed there were at least 5 otter (maybe more) in that little lake. It was a fun, beautiful hike and really cool to see the otter eating the fish. This is our group watching their dinner!

My sister in law Colette decided to fix Jack's hair one morning. He looked really cute in his pig tails. I'm not sure if he liked it, he looks a little confused! :)

It was a great trip. Aiden and Eliza are still vacationing in Idaho Falls with my mom and dad and Natalie, Hallie and Abbie. The cousins all get to stay up there for a week. So it has been pretty quiet with Jack being an only child here at home. I am enjoying some peace and I am sure my mom is enjoying some wild! :)
