Union Falls- Yellowstone

Russell and I hiked Union Falls years ago and I have always wanted to take the kids back because it was so cool. I am so glad that we made it work over Labor Day!

Jack and Aiden at the Old Faithful Lodge

We went to my parents house Friday night and then got up early and drove through Yellowstone on our way to pick up our permit.

They geysers were fun to check out

Jack took some cool pics with the binoculars

Cute Liston Boys!

Beautiful pools and kids!

Me and my babe at Old Faithful

Cute Eliza

We had to go to the South Entrance of Yellowstone to pick up our permit and watch a little movie. We found a picnic table at the Ranger's Station and had lunch before going to the trailhead.

The trailhead started at this lake. It was a long dirt road to get there.

Selfie!

About a mile in we got to ford a river! It was so fun. It was a super hot day!!

Carrying some heavy packs

Eliza is all about the adventure. We had to hike about 7 miles to our camp.

We ran out of water so Russell went and found this awesome little waterfall and filled our bottles.

Our camp! It was right by this river.

Aiden found a little buddy.
