We have been planning my parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary and Shane's 50th Birthday for a year and the day of our big Southern Caribbean Cruise finally came!
I think I packed enough swim suits! In order to go on the cruise we all had to take a Covid test 2 days before we got on the boat, which was the day most of us were flying out to San Juan. It was very stressful, but we all got negative tests and were able to go!
This is what Russell looked like the entire time at the airport. We had to wear masks in the airport and on the plane, but luckily not on the boat.

We met up with the Jaussi crew from Idaho and we all flew on the same flights to and from Puerto Rico. We had a long layover in San Fransisco. I packed some games so we had fun playing with Nate and Shantell.
We left Utah at 4pm Friday and finally got to San Juan at 1:30 Saturday! It was a long plane ride and I am so glad we all made it. This was the hotel we stayed at that night. We met up with Tricia and Shane and Megan and Kenny who were already there.
We ate at the Cheesecake factory that night (we had to show our vaccine cards to eat there!) Then we were all tired so we went to bed ready to get on the boat Sunday!
