One Friday night we decided to do a quick backpacking trip up to Silver Lake. We waited for Eliza to get off work, so I hike up that night was in the dark. I had the worst stomach ache and did not feel good at all. Russell, Eliza and Jack all took turns carrying my pack and as soon as we got there I crawled into the tent and went to sleep. The next morning we woke up to this view!
It was so pretty and I felt much better the next morning. My kids are so tough carrying my pack and theirs up that steep trail.

Jack did a great job on doing swim team this summer, he won a lot of races and even won a bet but doing a belly flop as his start.
Definitely worth 10 dollars!
