Arches 2017

The kids didn't have school yesterday and I wanted to go do something. So we decided to make a day trip to Arches! It was pretty wild. We got on the road at 6am and were home a little after 8pm.
It was a long car ride for a few hours of hiking but it was totally worth it.

We hiked to Delicate Arch first. It was so pretty. Cold, but pretty.

Here I am under the Arch. There were not that many people there so that was nice.

Here is a cool view of the arch through another arch.

Russell always is  up for an adventure with me. One of the many reasons why I love him.

The boys under the arch. See the white flakes coming down? Ya it snowed on us a bit.

On the trail.

Lunch...did I mention it was cold? It never got above 40 the whole day. And the wind was whipping. But we had a great time despite freezing.

This was the Park Avenue hike and it was our warmest hike of the day. And it was a nice little hike that I had never done. I thought I done about every hike in the park.

Jack brought his rock crawler car with us and had a blast driving it up the rocks.

 Double Arch is always beautiful!

This is what the backseat looked like on the way home. A bunch of sleeping kids. It was such a fun day. We'll have to do it again real soon.
