It was my Birthday on December 5th. It was a great, fun day. I am in my forties now. Crazy town.
Then we had Jack's Birtday on December 8th. It
is a big week for birthdays around the Liston house.
Jack Simon Liston a darling little baby...
Is now a darling little 9 year old!
I made some delicious cupcakes and we had the party at Grandma Liston's house.
She has a kiln and she poured these ceramic santa claus's for the party to paint. She told them step by step what colors to do.
Here they all are painting away.
They all did such a great job.
Here is Jack with his masterpiece.
We played a pop the ballon game, pin the tail on the turtle (because I can draw a turtle), and sardines.
We ate cupcakes and ice cream and opened presents. His friends were so generous to him and he got a bike from his mom and dad.
After the party he had to follow his big brother's lead and go to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Is this a meal for a birthday boy or what?
He got to ride the saddle and get a yee-haw, and that made him happy.
I love Jack so much and I am so glad that he is my boy!
