Fall Break 2016

I love Fall Break! We don't usually do anything big because we for some reason always play in September. But we always find fun things to do around here.
We started the fall break with and Egyptian funeral at the school on Wednesday.

Eliza was the Goddess Isis. We bought the costume, and made the horns.

 Cute goddesses and mummy Paige

We went to the new park at the Orem city center. Here are Jack and Troy.

Russell and I catching up on the day as the kids ran wild.

Paige and Eliza by the cute house.

The next day we went on a hike with Joleen, Paige, Troy and Janell. The temperature was perfect and the scenery was beautiful.

Janell, Joleen and I. Even though Janell doesn't have little kids any more, she still planned this little outing with us and our kids. To say she is the best is an understatement.

Then on Saturday we took a little road trip to Filmore to play in hot pots and explore lava tubes. Nothing says road trip like frosted donoughts and soda!

Here are Jack and Aiden in the middle of the the hot pot.

The Lava Tubes were really cool

Eliza was worried that the caves were going to collapse, but they didn't!

The yellow grass against the black rock was really pretty.

I am glad we went and checked out Fillmore. It was great!
