It is a tradition for my mom's side of the family to meet up at Arches National Park for spring break. Some years we all make it, some years a few of us can come and some times we skip a year. Last year we didn't go so when it was time to reserve our camping spots last October I was so excited to go back. We had this on the calender for 7 months and it did not disappoint us. It was so much fun.
Russell and Eliza on the edge of a cliff under Partition Arch. We were there for three days and did a hike every day.
Here is a picture of the kids on Friday's hike in a cool tree. Aiden called it our "family tree". At the top of the tree are Aiden and Vince, then Jack and Sydney, then Karly, Kloe and Eliza and Kolby.
Here is my little family up in a small arch above Partition.
Jack was such a good hiker! He hiked like a champ all the way to Delicate Arch. Here he is giving me a wink.
Russell and my dad on the trail. We didn't have a huge crew hike to the Delicate this year, just 9 of us.
Eliza and Jack...we made it! Eliza did such a great job on all of the hikes. She even got to the top 10 minutes before me!
Here is Aiden. He had a great time climbing rocks, catching lizards and teasing uncle Nate.
Aiden and Jack under a little arch.
Eliza and Sydney in front of some petroglyphs.
Here I am with Aiden and Jack under Broken Arch on the way to Sand Dune Arch. The weather was so beautiful this year. We have been there when it snows and is freezing cold. So we loved the nice warm weather!!
Here is Eliza on a rock near Sand Dune Arch.
Aiden, Jack and Bowen. Bowen gave his mom and dad a run for their money this trip. He loved playing the the road! So they were always chasing him. He is so cute and we all had fun playing with him.
Here is my awesome brother Nate and his cute baby Bowen. Nate thought this was the worst trip he has ever taken to Arches because all he did was chase Bowen! Welcome to parenthood Nate. :)
