Spring Break Part 2

After an exciting day in Snow Canyon we spent the evening with our great friends Steve and Lori at their house enjoying dinner and fun company.  The next day we slept in and then headed over to Pioneer Park just right in St George.  It had tons of red rocks to explore and jump off of.

Here is a crack that the family was dying to crawl through...I mean everybody in the family but me. I can't stand that kind of thing.  But Russell and the kids had a blast shimming through, they did it a few times.

We had a picnic later on that day under some big old climbing trees by the St. George temple.  Aiden climbed right up there and enjoyed the view.

We were told we had to go to Swigs for delicious drinks and shaved ice.  This is me taking my first sip of a "dirty Dr. Pepper"...and all I can say is that we went back the next day for some more.  It was a fun drive up drink shack that was very yummy.

We went to the St George Temple for a little tour of the visitor's center.  We met a fun couple missionary that gave the kids some gypsum and had us watch a really good show on families.  We took some pictures closer to the temple but this was probably the best one of the lot.  I think that stop was definitely a highlight of the trip.

Oops, a little out of order but here are the kids loving their shaved ice with the Swig shack in the background!

Then back to Uncle Reed's house for a swim!  His place had an indoor pool and an outdoor pool.  The day before Russ and I didn't swim, but we decided to get in this afternoon if they would swim inside.  So we swam inside, but some how we did end up in the out door pool and it was actually quite warm.

Here is proof that Russell actually got in. Swimming is not his favorite activity but he is a good sport to play with his fishy family :)
After swimming we spent the evening with Reed going to dinner and going to see The Crood's at the movie.  We loved our St George get away and can't wait to go back!

Where exactly does your uncle live? 'cause this looks a lot like Gram and Gramp daytons pool complex. Maybe they are neighbors and we can all be neighbors in St. George too!!

That's a fun spring break. Way to get out and try a new place. Though you should come back to Denver sometime.
