Yellowstone 2012

I love Yellowstone in the fall! It is the best. We didn't go last year so it was great to get back up there this year.  The weather was perfect! The sights were beautiful! The animals were out! And the company was the best!

Aiden, me, Jack and Russell at Gibbon Falls.

Aiden got this up close and personal shot of a buffalo by the side of the road.  We saw a lot of these guys, as well as four bears, elk, deer, antelope, and big horn sheep.

Here is my family at the brink of the falls.  It was a steep climb, but so worth it to look over the huge waterfall.

Uncle Dean, Jack and Grandpa Jaussi...what a good lookin' group of guys.

 The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone...

After the brink of the falls hike, we crossed the river and hiked down Uncle Tom's trail for another view of the waterfall.  Here is pretty Eliza by the pretty waterfall.

Here is the family again.  And Jack started posing like a buffalo in all of the pictures...see the horns?

Grandma and Grandpa Jaussi with Jack, Eliza and Aiden

Uncle Tom's trail has 326 steps down to the view point...that means 326 steps back up to the top! Jack and Russell are doing great with all of those stairs!

Me, my mom and Aunt Cindy taking a break on one of the benches on the way up! It was so much fun to be in Yellowstone with my mom and dad, Cindy and Dean, Grandma and Grandpa Headman, Jean, Jane, Ann and Lori.  I don't know if we could have had a better time.  More pictures to come!

This didn't show up on my blog yesterday. Way to do Uncle Toms' trail. That's a killer.
