Summer...so far

Well we are a month into summer and we have been BUSY! We are in the middle of swimming lessons at the Scera Pool, I've been to girl's camp, Eliza is in gymnastics, Aiden just had a soccer tournament this weekend (his team won the championship!), we are going to the Scera movies once a week, we've been to 7 peaks twice, been to the Summer Sno shack a few times, been playing at the park and flooding the sandbox. We keep moving around here for sure.

One of our favorite things is Orem Summerfest. My wonderful Aunt Cindy has front row seats for the parade in front of her house and lets us come over to watch. Here is Eliza waiting for the parade to begin. She has her sack ready to collect the candy!

Jack is so cute...even with a messy face!

The kids are ready for some action!

One night we went to a bar-b-que hosted by our mortgage company. They had face painting and Jack asked the lady to paint his face like a monkey. She said, "I don't know if I know how to do a monkey, do you want a tiger?" Jack said, "No, I only like monkeys." So she said she would try. When she was done she handed Jack the mirror and said, "Look! A monkey" and he said, "That's not a monkey!" You can't fool Jack, he did look more like a tiger but he was ok with it.

Eliza got a cute butterfly. And Aiden was to cool to get anything.

One Saturday afternoon we decided to hike up to Battlecreek Falls. Kyler came with us and we had so much fun hiking up and playing in the water

Jack and Russell under the falls.

Eliza, Jack and I. The water coming down was ice cold.

But that didn't stop Kyler from running underneath!! Aiden did it too, but I only got a video of that. They were so cold, but they were troopers hiking back down without complaining.

This summer has been great so far and we still have a couple of more months to go!
