Can you see Russell and the kids at the very top of the cliff? We were fishing at the lake below and they climbed up the cliff while I watched the poles. They could see the fish swimming in the lake right by the poles but none of them took a bite!
Here we are at the trail head...ready for our adventure. It was cold so we were prepared with our big coats.
Here are the backpackers. Eliza carried all of her cloths and band aids the whole way up and back. Jack carried his blankets most of the way up, but then they got "too heavy" and his awesome brother Aiden carried it the rest of the way up and back. Aiden was a big guy this year and carried his own sleeping bag and cloths. We are training them well!

That looks like a lot of fun. Good job getting your kids to hike and carry all of thier things! THat is inpressive! You sure wouldn't see me doing that!!! (I hate hiking though!) I wish we lived closer so that the girls could play together! Lexa's baby is sure cute, huh?
fun tradition. love the worm house!
That is such a fun tradition! And I'm sure it made the trip better since the kids got along. I know I just saw them a couple of weeks ago but they are all looking so big.
