Just before we started out... Eliza is holding a plant guide so we could identify some plants and wildflowers.
Jack spotted something in the bushes...a rock. He was so funny, he wanted to wear a little fanny pack. It was loaded with a granola bar and two band aids.
It was so green and beautiful. We couldn't pass up a photo opp.

We found a beaver dam and lodge. Beavers really are busy.
Aiden is telling Russell, "Dad I can get over to that lodge I just need to hop across a couple of these logs and then...." It is always and adventure with Aiden.
I see you, too! I love getting out with my family and now that summer is here, the world is our oyster! :)

That looks like so much fun. Jack cracks me up. What a prepared kid. If you got lost think how happy you would be that he had granola bars and those bandaids, never know when they are going to come in handy. What a fun day trip.
