Pottery Wheel

I was tired of having to tell the kids a million times to do something before they would do it. So we made an obedience chart and as soon as it was filled up they could get a prize. We went to Toys R Us to find something they would want to work towards and Eliza saw a pottery wheel, her eyes glazed over and that was it! So after working really hard she earned it and threw her first pot.

Russell and Eliza working the clay.

Painting the finished product. She was very proud of herself. And quite ambitious, she wants to make a tea set next!

that looks like a lot of fun, and a potential mess. Can't wait to see her tea set.

That is a good idea for chores. My kids need to do a lot better at cleaning up. It's hard to find good motivators!! Good Job, Eliza!
