The Night and Days before Christmas

We had a fun Christmas party with Russell's family on the 23rd. Here are Russell, his dad Sherrill and Jack hanging out before the party got started. The best part of the night was when Jack stuck a bead up his nose. Aunt Joleen blew air into his mouth (isn't she such a great aunt!) and that pushed the bead out quite a bit but Russell still had to get a little tool and fish it out. It really made the night memorable! I am glad we didn't have to go to the doctor to get it out.

This also was memorable. Paige and Eliza did a dance to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star for their talent. Aiden played the piano, and Jack put hand santizer in his eye. Oh, yes he was the life of the party.

Here are the kids dressed up for the Nativity. Eliza was so excited to be Mary this year. She came running over and said, "Grandma said I could be Mary, not an angel....yes!" Jack would not participate at first, he decided to take a casual approach and drink his juice first. And Aiden was suppose to be Joseph with the wooden staff, but he kind of looks like a ninja.

My awesome older sister Tricia had us over to her house on Christmas Eve and she decorated the tables so cute. She made two different kinds of soup, eggnog milkshakes, and treats. Yummy. We also played Santa Bingo and had a talent show with the kids. Thanks Tricia it was fun!

Our tradition is of course to buy pajamas for Christmas Eve, and Jack wanted nothing to do with it. He threw the biggest fit when we put them on him and he cried and cried. Have I mentioned that he is two?

Here are Aiden, Jace, Eliza, Abbie, Natalie and Hallie in their cute p.j.'s. Jack would not participate. I only bought bottoms for Aiden (he's a boy now and will not wear a shirt) so he is still wearing his regular shirt.
We've had a fun month, and now we have four more things to look forward to: My mom and dad are coming to visit this week, Russell's brother James is getting married on December 31, Aiden is getting baptized on January 2 and Eliza's birthday on January third. We may be able to slow down after that. :)

Okay a few things... that Jack sounds like quite the character, I love it. Ummm, I noticed all the Biolage on the table in the background, do you get that as a gift? I love that stuff! Tricia did such a good job on the decorations. What an awesome sister, even if she is older :-)Sounds like you guys will be busy for a while, good luck with all that!!
